AEP Books and Media

Founded in 1992, AEP Books and Media, is a Veteran-owned company located in Buffalo, NY. While working as an academic counselor for incoming MBA students, Scott Meacham came up with the concept of supplying study guides for standardized tests. Meacham’s notion turned into a part-time business run from his new partner’s, Ken Pronti, home.

The company landed its first major contract with the Government Services Administration in the late 1990s. With freight trucks pulling up outside Pronti’s house loaded with pallets of books, it was time to find a real location for the growing business. In 2000, they leased space at the Tri-Main and officially quit their day jobs to tackle the business full-time.

Today, academic, corporate and government institutions worldwide count on AEP to obtain any title, in any quantity, at anytime. AEP is a comprehensive book supplier, with access to over seven million titles, offering Simply Better Service.
